Prairieland Ag Inc (PAI) was formed in July 1996 when Ray Kotchian brought together 12 locally owned coops located in the Red River Valley of ND & MN to purchase fertilizer as a group. In 2005 Prairieland Ag Inc and Midwest Fertilizer united to form the Prairieland Ag crop protection division. In 2017 PAI merged with Midwest Fertilizer and the Gades Group that covered Minnesota & Western Wisconsin. In February 2018, Prairieland Ag LLC (PALLC) was formed to manage the growing crop protection group and the new micro nutrient & specialty products distribution business.

The primary objective of PAI is to represent members in all aspects of achieving successful and sustainable retail agronomy centers. PALLC will coordinate the distribution of quality ag input products in our geography that add value for our member and owners.

The staff at PAI have over 275 combined years of experience in the Ag Inputs market encompassing both wholesale and retail.

Create a procurement environment for our dealers that allows them to focus on innovative, environmental and economically sound agricultural practices with their growers.
